Laser Printers Brisbane
Areas we service: printer and photocopier service across Brisbane
Brisbane spreads out along a river and three big motorways, so we work it district by district. The CBD and the inner suburbs, the old industrial belt to the south west, the Ipswich corridor, Logan and Beenleigh, the northside from Chermside to Caboolture, Bribie Island, the bay and the Redlands, and Toowoomba on the range. Each has a page of its own below. Ring with your suburb and the machine and we will say what we can do, including same day where it is available.

Ask ten people where Brisbane begins and ends and you get ten answers. For service work it is simpler to think in corridors. The Bruce Highway pulls the northern suburbs up to Caboolture. The Pacific Motorway drags the south down through Logan to Beenleigh. The Ipswich Motorway feeds the old industrial strip to the west, and the Gateway and the airport tie the bayside to the north.
We have written a page for each district, covering what offices and depots there tend to print, the machines we meet most, and the access questions we ask before a visit. Short versions follow, and the links take you to the longer pages.
If your building sits on a boundary, ring anyway. A business in Bowen Hills does not much care whether we file it under the Valley or the northside, and neither do we.
CBD and Spring Hill
Queen Street, Eagle Street, Adelaide Street and the government end around George and William Streets hold the towers. The machines in them are floor standing multifunctions with finishers, secure print release and scan to email, and one stuck on a stapled set at four on a Thursday is the typical emergency. Spring Hill has the older low rise offices and the converted houses on the slope.
Towers have lift bookings, dock windows and sign in desks. Give us the building name and the level and the technician walks to the machine with nothing left to sort out at the front. More on the CBD service page.
Fortitude Valley, Newstead and Teneriffe
Old woolstores, brick warehouses and shopfront suites with narrow stairs, now full of agencies, studios, architects and start ups. The machines are small, shared by everyone, and wanted all at once. Colour matters more here than almost anywhere, since a designer spots a dull magenta from across the room.
Parking is the other thing. We ask about loading zones and lifts on the first call, and the Valley and Newstead page goes into what we usually find.

Milton, Paddington and the inner west
Milton Road and Park Road have corporate and agency offices. Paddington, Red Hill and Ashgrove have a good number of Queenslanders turned into practices and consulting rooms, where the copier lives in what used to be a bedroom and the stairs are original. Toowong, Auchenflower and St Lucia add engineers, a university and a lot of medical suites.
Machines are a mix of A3 multifunctions and HP or Kyocera workgroup printers. See the pages for Milton and the inner west.
Indooroopilly, Toowong and Kenmore
Solicitors, accountants, dental and specialist practices cluster around the shopping centres, then thin out into the hills at Kenmore and Chapel Hill. Patient forms and legal documents are the print load, and an office that cannot print at nine is an office that cannot start the day. We plan around the quiet hour you choose.
South Brisbane, West End and Woolloongabba
Across the bridge there is a hospital precinct, a stadium, galleries, a library and a lot of apartment buildings. Body corporate managers print levy notices, clinics print referral letters, and event offices print in a rush. Apartment buildings sometimes want a day's warning about lift use, so mention it when you ring.
Centenary suburbs, Darra and Sumner Park
The south west belt stretches from the industrial units around Sumner Park and Darra to the offices and practices at Mount Ommaney and Jindalee. Warehouses run dispatch labels and delivery dockets, trades print plans, and the fine dust from the yards is a real enemy of rollers. We clean the paper path while we are in there and tell you if the machine is in the wrong spot.
Acacia Ridge, Archerfield and the southside industrial belt
Rocklea, Coopers Plains, Salisbury and Acacia Ridge run on consignment notes, compliance paperwork and picking slips, with a front office that nobody remembers until it breaks. Heavy cycle multifunctions share space with dispatch printers. Some of these sites start at six and finish at three, so tell us your hours. See Acacia Ridge and Archerfield.

Sunnybank, Mount Gravatt and Eight Mile Plains
Busy shopping strips with accountants, migration agents, solicitors, medical and dental suites above the shops. Stairs and shared entrances are the usual obstacle. Mention the floor and whether there is a lift when you ring.
Carindale, Camp Hill and the south east
Real estate offices, allied health, schools and clubs around the big shopping centre and the main roads to Cannon Hill and Mansfield. Schools and clubs print on a calendar, so a service visit before term starts costs a good deal less than a breakdown in week two.
Eastern suburbs and the airport precinct
Hamilton, Eagle Farm, Pinkenba, Murarrie and Hemmant, with the airport at the northern end. Freight, logistics and a few professional suites. Airport and port sites often have their own entry procedures, and we would rather hear about them on the phone than at the gate.
Wynnum, Manly and the bayside
Bay Terrace shopfronts, the marina and yacht club and the industrial side towards Lytton. Salt air gets into everything near the water. If the machine sits near an open door, the paper store is the first thing we check.
Redlands, Capalaba and Cleveland
Council and community offices, schools, allied health and trades from Capalaba out to Victoria Point. Many offices are in shopping centre suites or first floor strips. We ask about lifts, stairs and parking, and mention that reams stored in a garage soak up the damp and curl before they reach the machine.

The northside: Chermside, Geebung, Brendale
Medical and professional suites around the hospital and shopping precinct at Chermside. Further out, Virginia, Geebung and Brendale are industrial belts, with roller doors and shared yards. A copier that fails before the first appointment matters to everyone in the waiting room.
North Lakes, Strathpine and Albany Creek
Council offices, a university campus, new medical suites and business parks. Newer offices tend to fail in newer ways: settings, drivers and network changes more than worn parts. We test scanning from a real computer before leaving.
Redcliffe, Caboolture and Bribie Island
The peninsula, the suburbs behind it, Morayfield, Burpengary and the bridge to Bribie Island. Councils, clubs, care providers, schools, trades and marine businesses. One machine often carries the whole office. Say so when you ring, so we know what is riding on it.
Springfield, Ripley and Ipswich
Springfield was planned as a city and is still filling in. New clinics, builders and education offices open every year, and a good share of our calls there are setups, not repairs: scan to email never configured, drivers missing on half the computers. Ipswich is an older river city with stairs, shopfronts and a long defence and transport history, and Amberley has its own entry rules.
Logan, Beenleigh and Yatala
Distribution offices in Slacks Creek and Woodridge, practices at Springwood and Underwood, a hospital and university campus at Meadowbrook, and manufacturers at Yatala. Gates, inductions and shift work are normal here. Label printers share the floor with copiers, so tell us the label printer model when you ring.

Wacol, Goodna and the Ipswich Motorway belt
Carole Park, Gailes, Richlands and Redbank mix industrial operators with offices behind them. Trucks, forklifts and a lot of dust. The copier in the front building may be a perfectly good machine in a bad spot, and we will say so.
Beaudesert, the Scenic Rim and the Lockyer Valley
Farm country, packing sheds, schools and small towns from Jimboomba to Gatton and Laidley. Offices depend on one machine, and patchy internet breaks scan to email more often than any worn part. A label printer that stops in a harvest week holds up a load.
Toowoomba and the Darling Downs
Agribusiness, schools, professional firms and medical practices. Visits up the range are planned into the day and machines grouped, so ring with all of them listed. Same on site service as everywhere else, with the price settled on the call.
Hospitals, universities and schools
Some of the busiest machines in the region are not in offices. Hospitals at Chermside, Woolloongabba, Ipswich, Meadowbrook, Redcliffe, Caboolture and Cleveland have practices around them, and the universities at St Lucia, Gardens Point, Nathan and Springfield have faculty print rooms. We do not know a campus's rules from the phone, so tell us the building, the floor and who to ask for.
School offices print newsletters and excursion forms in bursts. A copier that jams in the second week of term holds up the whole administration team.
Buying, selling, leasing and moving machines
The crew who fix copiers also supply them: new machines, second hand ones, leases, and office moves, plus a buyer for your old copier. Whatever we sell is warranted. Start at the sales page, or see the used and refurbished range, selling a photocopier and relocation and setup.

How we group visits
Keeping a technician in one district for the day saves everybody time. It also means the person arriving has already read the notes: building, machine, code, access. If you have several machines, list them all in one call. A copier on level three and a printer on level five is one visit.
If a part has to be ordered we say so before leaving and book the return visit, so nobody is left guessing.
Your suburb is not on the list
Then ring. The list is long and it is not complete. If we are not the right people for a machine, we will tell you so.
Fuser heat
Respect the hot part
Fusers are cheap to fix when somebody looks first. They get expensive when somebody guesses.
We let it cool, check the rollers and the gap, then fit the part. The same look tells us how much life is left if you are weighing up a replacement.

- Cooled first. Nobody pulls a fuser out hot.
- Checked as a set. Rollers, thermistor and gap, not one part in isolation.
- Honest about age. A tired fuser on a finished machine is a different conversation.
Three steps to a price
- Name the machineMake, model and the trouble it is giving you.
- Hear the price firstWe ring you back with it before a visit is booked.
- A certified technician attendsSame day wherever the diary allows.
The kind of work that comes in

Questions people ask us on the phone
How far out does Laser Printers Brisbane go?
North to Caboolture and Bribie Island, south through Logan to Beenleigh and Yatala, west to Ipswich, the Lockyer Valley and the Scenic Rim edge, east to the Redlands and Wynnum, and inland to Toowoomba. Ring with your suburb if it is borderline.
Is there a page for my part of Brisbane?
Probably. We have pages for the CBD, the Valley and Newstead, Milton, the inner west, the Centenary suburbs, the southside industrial belt, Logan, Ipswich, the northside, Moreton Bay, the Redlands and Toowoomba, among others. Use the list above.
Can you come the same day?
Same day service is available. Ring early, name the suburb and the machine, and we will say what we can arrange.
Do you also handle buying and selling machines?
Yes, on the same number. New and second hand machines, leases, moves and used copiers bought in, all warranted where we sell them. Repair advice still comes first.
Will you work around lift bookings and site inductions?
Yes, if you tell us on the call. Dock windows, visitor sign in and gate codes are all things we plan for.
Do I bring the machine in?
No. The repair happens at your premises.
Do you go to warehouses and industrial estates?
Regularly. Acacia Ridge, Archerfield, Darra, Wacol, Eagle Farm and Brendale are everyday work. The unit number and the gate you want us to use help.
Which makes do you work on?
Toshiba, HP, Kyocera, Fujifilm, Canon and Ricoh most often, plus Konica Minolta, Sharp, Brother, Epson, Lexmark, OKI and Zebra.
How do you arrive at a price?
What parts it probably wants, how long we are on site and what the building adds. We talk it through on the phone and you agree before the diary is touched.
What if nobody picks up?
The lines are busy. The call is logged and returned. Leave your name, number, suburb and machine.
