Lease and rental, Brisbane
Buying outright is one way to get a copier and not always the best. If cash is better spent on the business, or the print volume is uncertain, or the office is only open for a project, a photocopier lease in Brisbane spreads the cost. We arrange lease, rental, hire and finance for commercial photocopiers and multifunction machines, and the technicians who service them are ours. Ring (07) 3073 5255 and say how long you need the machine.
We quote on whichever you ask for and say honestly which looks best for the way your office works.
| Option | Term | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Buy outright | You own it from the first day | Offices that like to own, and those buying reconditioned or ex demo |
| Hire | Under 12 months | A project, an event, a trial of a model, a temporary office |
| Rental | 24 to 36 months | Businesses that want flexibility without a long commitment |
| Lease | 36 to 60 months | Offices that want a current machine and a steady cost over a longer run |
We print no prices here. The figure depends on the machine and the term, and the quote is yours to compare.

Rental sits between hire and a lease. Over 24 to 36 months you get the machine, the paperwork and the service in one arrangement, with a shorter commitment than a long lease. It suits growing businesses, those unsure what their needs will be, and offices that want to review the machine when the term ends.
If you only need a copier for a short time, hire under 12 months is simpler.
Hire suits a project office, a temporary site or a trial of a new model. You say what you need and for how long, we deliver and set the machine up, and when you finish we collect it. Several offices have used hire as a way to try a model before buying it, which is a sensible way to spend a few months.
Reasons we hear on the phone.
Leasing is not always right. If you print very little, or would rather own a reconditioned machine, buying can cost less over time. We say so.
Three things in a copier agreement catch people. The first is the volume the agreement assumes. If it is built around a page count and the office prints well above it, there can be an excess charge. The second is what happens when the term ends: some agreements roll on quietly unless notice is given. The third is whose job it is to service the machine, and what that service covers. None of these is hidden, they are just in a part of the document nobody reads.
If you want a second opinion on a quote you have been given, send us the details. We will tell you what looks fair and what to ask about, whether or not you end up with us.
Finance spreads the purchase of a machine over a term. You choose the machine, we arrange the finance, and it is delivered and set up like any other. A lease or finance contract is an agreement with a finance company, with its own terms. Read it. Ask what happens at the end. Ask who is responsible for service.
We talk through all of it on the phone and we do not push an arrangement that does not suit you.
The ones we would ask if it were our office.
Neither suits everybody.
| Question | Lease or rental | Buy outright |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront cost | Spread over the term | Paid at the start |
| Who owns it | Usually the finance company until the end | You, from day one |
| Flexibility | Upgrade or hand back at the end of the term | Keep it as long as you like and sell when ready |
| Service | Can sit alongside the agreement | Arranged separately or under a service agreement |
| Fits | A current machine and predictable cost | Owners, and buyers of reconditioned or ex demo |
A new business rarely knows what it will print. A rental or a short lease keeps the commitment modest and can be changed as the business grows. A reconditioned machine bought outright is another way to keep the cost down. Tell us the headcount and what you expect to print, and we put the options side by side.
A three person practice that prints a little and likes to own things usually buys a reconditioned machine. A growing agency that has doubled its headcount in a year is better off with a rental, because the machine it needs next year is not the machine it needs now. A school adding a second copier for an admin block can go either way. A site office that closes in October hires, and gives it back.
The pattern is the length of time you are sure about. If you know it is five years, a lease is straightforward. If you know it is eight months, hire. If you have no idea, a rental keeps the door open.
If you are adding machines, or replacing a group, tell us. A fleet is easier to look after when the machines are alike, and one arrangement covering several machines puts a single number between you and a stalled copier.
A machine on a lease still wears. Fusers age, feed rollers wear, and a drum has a life measured in pages. Where the agreement leaves service to you, plan for it. A planned visit costs less than an emergency one, and a machine kept in good order is easier to hand back at the end without an argument over condition.
Our technicians are trained, experienced and certified, carry the common spare parts and fix 98% of repairs on the first visit. If the same fault returns we fix it again at no charge. Same day service is available.
If you already lease from another provider, read the agreement first. Service may be the provider's responsibility, and an outside repair can start an argument. If service is yours, or the agreement has finished, ring us.
You can lease or rent a new machine, and we can talk through options on ex demo and reconditioned machines too. The machines we sell are warranted and we explain what is covered on the phone. If you are replacing a machine we take trade ins and buy used commercial machines you own.
We arrange these across Brisbane and the outer corridors, from Ipswich and the Scenic Rim edge to Moreton Bay, Caboolture, the Redlands and Toowoomba. Ring (07) 3073 5255 or use the contact page. Busy lines get the call logged and returned.
Firmware and settings
A technician who knows the model checks that first and saves you a part you never needed. One who does not starts taking covers off.
We read the history, check the settings and open the machine only when the evidence says so. Your network person is welcome to stand alongside.

A rental is a shorter commitment, 24 to 36 months. A lease runs 36 to 60 months. Both put a machine in the office without buying it outright.
Hire is for under 12 months, so a project or event fits. Ring with the dates.
Service can sit alongside a lease or rental, and we explain on the phone what is covered.
Yes. Tell us the machine and the term and we talk through the options.
Not always. Leasing spreads the cost and keeps the machine current. Buying, especially reconditioned, can cost less over time.
It depends on the agreement. Usually you can return, upgrade, extend or buy. Ask before you sign.
The right figure depends on the machine and the term. Ring and we quote on the option you ask for.
