Refurbished Canon Photocopiers for Sale in Brisbane

There is probably a Canon in your building already, or in the one next door. That is the quiet strength of a refurbished Canon photocopier in Brisbane: staff know the panel, the IT person knows how the drivers behave, and any technician in the region has opened one before. We sell used Canon photocopier stock, mostly imageRUNNER ADVANCE, and every machine is inspected, serviced, tested, warranted, delivered and set up. Phone (07) 3073 5255 and tell us what you print.

Why familiarity lowers the risk

A spec sheet cannot tell you how a machine will fit into an office. Familiarity can. When the people who feed the copier already know where the stapler setting lives and the person who looks after the computers has already installed the driver twice, the used purchase is calmer than it looks.

That is the reason imageRUNNER ADVANCE machines resell so well. It is a recognised A3 multifunction, and a good one that has been properly serviced gives you Canon scanning and print quality without the new machine price.

Where Canons land around Brisbane

Patterns from the offices that ask us for them.

PlaceWhat goes through the machine
Drawing offices around the CBD and MiltonLarge originals scanned and copied, where scan quality is the whole point
School administration blocks in the outer suburbsNewsletters, forms, timetables, one machine to a block
Professional suites at Chermside and IndooroopillyLetters, statements, signed documents going back out as files
Branch offices on the Ipswich and Logan corridorsStandardised fleets where one make across every site is easier to support

Builders and engineers who copy and scan large originals sit in that first row. Franchise groups sit in the last. If your office is somewhere else, ring anyway, because the question is what you print, not who you are.

What gets checked on a Canon

The route of the paper and the toner is the route of the inspection. Every tray's pickup and feed parts, the document feeder with its separation parts, the fuser, the transfer belt and how it cleans, the imaging units and the developer. A finisher, if fitted, is tested. The panel, the scan glass and every network function get a turn.

Canon reports faults as codes, and the machine keeps a history of them. We read it. A machine whose history points to a worn part gets the part, and one with a clean history still gets tested properly, because a clean record on paper is not the same as a copier that works.

Finishers, drawers and stands

Options change what a machine does. A finisher staples and punches, and a booklet finisher folds. An extra paper drawer saves a walk to the stationery cupboard, and a stand brings a compact machine up to a comfortable height.

A used machine sold with a finisher that does not staple is no bargain. We say which options are fitted, whether they work, and whether they can be added later, and we put it in writing if you ask.

Colour or mono, and how quick

A colour imageRUNNER ADVANCE suits proposals, presentations and reports, and plenty of owners run it mostly in black and white anyway. A mono machine suits an office that prints text and forms all day and wants the running cost down.

Speed matters less than most buyers expect. A machine slightly too slow is a daily irritation at peak hour and one slightly too big is a daily expense. Tell us how many people use it, roughly how many pages go through in a month, and whether colour is part of the work. From those three answers we say what size suits, and we do not push the largest machine on the floor.

Five questions for any seller

Easy to put to us, and just as useful elsewhere.

  • Which model, and what is on the meter? That says where the machine sits in its life.
  • How were the transfer belt and the document feeder when it came in, and what was replaced?
  • Do the finisher, the extra drawers and the stand all come with it, and does each one work?
  • Is delivery included, and does the network setup and scan to email come with it?
  • What cover goes with the machine? You are told before you buy.
Stopped before the month end run?Tell us what the panel says. Same day service is available, so ask early.

On delivery day

We agree the date with you first. The machine arrives, goes where you want it and is joined to your network. A test is printed from a desktop and a scan is sent to a real inbox before we leave, and a Canon with a finisher has a stapled set run through it. Packaging goes with us and the main users get a quick tour.

If your IT contact is on hand, scan setup is quicker, and we tell you ahead what we will need. Replacing an older Canon? Its address book and scan destinations can often be carried across, so staff find things where they expect them.

The drawing office copier

Where originals are large, scan quality decides everything. Drawing offices want the glass clean, the lines sharp and the scan to arrive where the team can open it. A schools office wants the opposite sort of virtue: a machine that is simple, familiar and looked after by someone who knows it. A Canon can be either, which is why we sell the same range into both kinds of place.

When a Canon is not the right answer

Sometimes it is not. An office that prints a handful of pages a week does not need an A3 multifunction at all, and an office that prints in thousands might do better with a different make that suits its volume. We would sooner tell you that on the phone than sell the wrong machine.

Our advice on repair comes first and does not bend because we also have machines to sell.

Moving a Canon in

A few practical points make delivery smoother. A power outlet close to where the machine will stand, a doorway wide enough, a clear run from the loading point and somebody to say where it goes. If the machine is going upstairs, tell us, and if there is a lift that needs booking, tell us that as well.

Used Canon photocopier, and what we do afterwards

If the same fault comes back on a Canon we looked after, we fix it again at no charge. The technicians carry the common spare parts to your premises, and the price is agreed on the phone first.

Ways a Canon can reach you

A new machine has its whole life ahead. An ex demo photocopier is near new with light use. Reconditioned photocopiers are inspected and serviced, and a refurbished Canon is restored to running order. Each suits a different budget and a different appetite for risk. The overview on used and refurbished photocopiers explains the differences, new photocopiers covers buying new, and our page on A3 photocopiers for sale goes through size, speed and finishing.

Second hand A3 copier, Canon beside others

Canon is not the only way to get an A3 machine, and we are happy to say so. Have a look at refurbished Toshiba if the screen matters, refurbished Kyocera if running cost does, refurbished Ricoh for scanning and refurbished HP for colour and security.

The machine you are retiring

An old Canon with life left in it has a value. We buy used photocopiers, put a figure on it over the phone and take the machine away, drive wiped. That value then counts toward the next one. Selling your photocopier and photocopier trade in have the detail.

Buy, lease or rent

Paying in one go is only one way. Lease, rental, hire and finance are all arranged for commercial copiers, and servicing stays with the same technicians. The page on lease, rental and finance sets out the choices. Prices stay off the website because one machine suits very different arrangements.

Looked after afterwards

Whoever services your Canon has the history of that very machine, because the technicians who prepared it are the ones who attend. For what we see on imageRUNNER ADVANCE machines and how an E code is handled, read our Canon photocopier repairs page. Our work is warranted, and so are the machines.

How far we deliver

Canons go out to Toowoomba and Ipswich, up through Redcliffe and Moreton Bay to Caboolture, across to the Redlands and Bribie Island, and down to the edge of the Gold Coast, as well as everywhere inside Brisbane. Phone (07) 3073 5255 to check your location, or use the contact page.

Ask the people who print

The operator knows first

The person who feeds the paper in every morning knows when the machine started misbehaving. Tuesday after the storm, perhaps, or since somebody loaded the heavier stock. That one detail is worth more than a service manual.

Tell us the first thing you noticed, even if it sounds small. Often it is nearly the whole answer.

Questions people ask us on the phone

Do you have used imageRUNNER ADVANCE copiers in stock?

Some, most weeks. Stock moves, so ring with what you print and we say what is on the floor.

Why do Canons resell so well?

Staff know them and technicians have seen them. That cuts the risk of a second hand purchase.

Do you check the document feeder?

Yes, along with its separation parts, in every machine we sell.

What does a code history tell you?

It shows the faults the machine has logged. We read it, fit parts where it points to wear, and test the machine regardless.

Can you fit a finisher later?

Sometimes. We say on the phone whether your model can take one.

Do you sell Canon inkjets for home use?

No, our sales are commercial machines for businesses.

Will the old address book come across?

Often, yes, when you are replacing an older Canon. Ask us when you book delivery.

Do you sell new Canon machines?

Our new photocopiers page explains what we supply. Phone with what you need and we say what is available.
